Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry in Cincinnati

Restoring smiles

In dentistry, crowns and bridges refer to the restoration of natural teeth which have been damaged, decayed or lost. This is otherwise known as restorative dentistry.

When you visit us, we'll examine your teeth and evaluate your dental and medical history. From there we will be ready to provide a diagnosis and treatment options.
In some instances composite filling material can be used to repair small to moderate areas of tooth damage. This is a more conservative approach. Please see composite fillings page.

Restorative procedures

In instances where you need to have your tooth restored to its original size and shape, supply additional physical support for the treated tooth or get a complete "makeover" on the affected tooth, a crown would be your best option. For more information on crowns, please see our crowns page.

Dental bridges, on the other hand, are used to replace missing teeth or a tooth. For more information on bridges, please see our bridges page.
